Girl Posing in Photo Booth
  • How long before my event should I book the photo booth?
Photo booths are quite popular and we have a fixed number of weekends in any given year, so ideally you book as early as you can. We currently offer 4 different photo booths (with a couple people on standby) which means we can often accommodate a “last minute” booking. With that said, we still need to create a template for you and that can take some time. So in short, book as early as you can, but even if it’s last minute, contact us!
  • Why should I rent a photo booth?
Having a photo booth at your event provides a ton of fun and entertainment which is customized for your guests and it also preserves your memories in a candid way!
  • Do you sell your photobooths?
Our standard photobooths are not for sale and can only be rented, however for corporate customers we provide the possibility of creating custom photobooths or cabins to fit any marketing campaign needs.
  • What if I am not satisfied with #instabox
Your satisfaction is our highest goal. Should there be any reason why you are not satisfied with our service, we will not invoice it. So easy!
  • How can I rent your photobooth?
You can use the inquiry form to make a non-binding inquiry about the photobooth with the desired service package on the desired date. You can also contact us by telephone.
  • How does the photobooth work?
To start, simply touch the touchscreen and off you go! Depending on which print layout you have selected, one to four photos are taken. The countdown to the next image is always displayed in Live View. A few seconds after your photo session, you will receive your photo from the printer. Very simple, we promise!
  • How much space does the photobooth require?
A space of at least 2.5 x 2.5 m should be calculated and the surface must be firm and level. The distance to the “object” should be about 1.5 - 2 m. If possible, photographs should not be taken in open space but against a wall or other suitable background. Strong fluctuations in lighting conditions should be avoided.
  • What is needed on site?
A normal power socket and an extension cable if required. Nothing more.
  • Is it possible to rent the box for several days (e.g. for a tradeshow)?
Of course. We recommend that you specify the desired duration of use when making your inquiry. We will then prepare a non-binding offer for your desired period.
  • Is there a supervisor on site?
Yes, our photo boxes are supervised by one member of staff for the full duration of the booking. We offer you a professional photo service, i.e. our employees take care of a smooth process, consistently high image quality, safety of the box and the accessories and assistance during use. (Note: We do not offer a promotion or hostess service).
  • I have sent a request, what happens now?
As soon as we receive your request, we will first check the event date for availability and then get back to you with a non-binding offer within 24 hours.
  • What about data protection?
We store all data collected via the photobooth solely for the purpose of fulfilling our contract with the renter. By using the photobooth, the user agrees to the digital image being passed on to the hirer. The hirer undertakes to comply with the applicable data protection regulations when handling the data. We will not process the data further or pass it on to third parties (with the exception of the hirer). Of course, the digital data can also be deleted immediately after the print/share on request.
  • What happens in the event of damage? Can I book additional insurance?
During the rental period, the renter is responsible for the rented photo box system(s) and any accessories provided. During the rental period, the renter is liable for any damage to the photo box and any accessories provided by him or visitors to his event. We do not offer optional “fully comprehensive” insurance. Should a serious case of damage actually occur, it is possible to settle the claim, e.g. via the personal liability insurance of the party responsible for the damage.
  • How are your photobooths configured?
Our photo boxes are all equipped with professional photo and, if agreed, with print equipment, including a Canon mirrorless camera, studio flash, live view, dye-sublimation printer*. We currently have 2 visually different, technically largely identical photobooths on offer. Unless agreed in advance, there is no entitlement to a specific photobooth system.
  • How can my guests access the photos on site?
There are several ways for your guests to get the photos from the photobooth. 1. if you book the instant print option, your guests can take the photo they have just taken with them as a 10 x 15 cm photo in just a few seconds. 2. your guests can get the photos via email, sms, airdrop or by scanning a QR code
  • What exactly is the print flat rate?
Unless otherwise agreed, the print flat rate includes an unlimited number of prints. Also, there is no limit to the number of photographs that can be taken, regardless of the print!
  • Can I have a printed photo printed more than once?
A photo can be printed maximum in two copies, unless negotiated else.
  • Is it possible to design the printout/print template?
Of course! We have several ready-made print layouts for various events (e.g. weddings, Christmas parties, birthdays, etc.) in stock, which can then be customized (e.g. with names, dates, sayings, logos, etc.). In principle, a completely free design is also possible. But of course you can also design your own layout as long as you keep a few basic things in mind. More detailed information will of course be discussed in writing or by telephone following a detailed inquiry.
  • How many people can use the photo booth at once?
For each photo booth picture session approximately 12 people can squeeze in at a time.
  • You said we get prints; how long does that take?
Once your photo session is completed the file is sent to the printer. That takes about 1 second. The printer then processes the file and begins printing, and that takes about 10 seconds. By the time the print is in your hand it is under 12 seconds total. The most common thing we hear after we hand someone their print is “Oh, wow… That was fast!”
